Still Alive

Okay, so maybe it wasn't so terribly soon...But ya know...

The move was a bitch. How could driving 22 straight hours with two dogs, two cats, and two kids be anything else?
My car didn't like it. As in desperate need of repair didn't like it. But that's okay...Nice thing about a regular paycheck is being able to afford to fix your transportation to work. Lol.

Just thought I'd drop by and say that I'm still alive, and thank you all for the comments on my last post. It's nice to know that this little corner with all of its awesome people is still here. No matter where I am.

Now I'm off on the desperate search for somebody to fix my neck so that I can ditch this constant headache. The whole eeny meeny miny moe the yellow pages thing sounds so dangerous when looking for people to crack your neck...

  1. Glad that thing went pretty well. I cannot imagine the drive. Our family has a tough time driving four hours without wanting to throw someone out the window. Hope you find a good chiropractor and your head ache goes away soon. Glad to see you around

    1. Blondie,
Yea, the drive was no fun at all. We split up kids and various other species of animal, so I think that helped, but it was a longgg time!

Thanks! It's good to see you.

  2. I agree with Blondie - 22 hrs! I'm not surprised your neck is bad. Cranial Osteopath helped me with headaches and stiff necks.
    Thanks for the update.

Thanks! I'm glad we made it too...Apparently my car cut that somewhat close, but it didn't leave me stranded!

  6. well, it could have been worse. Can't think of how at the moment, but I'm certain it could have been.
Seriously, glad your car didn't leave you stranded. I absolutely HATE that worry. Now for the unpacking and getting settled. Glad it's you and not me. Good luck with that. :)

Seriously, again, glad you made it, glad you're back here. ttyl

    1. Sarah,
the whole moving thing is ridiculous! I think it's perfectly reasonable to always be glad when it's someone else, lol.

Oh yes, it could have totally been worse. It is a bit frustrating to suddenly be somewhere that has everything and not be able to go anywhere under my own steam. You know, now that I'm feeling brave enough to actually leave the house. Quite irritating how said bravery was so shortly followed by my car's breakdown...

Good to see you (as the case may be) I hope that all is well with you!
