Lurker Love

It has come to my attention that it is once again Love Our Lurkers Day. A day dedicated to sweet talking silent visitors into speaking up and saying hello.

Oh, the lurker--someone who reads silently and goes on about their way, with only the trace of a hit on our stats that they have been there at all. I'll let you in on a little not-so-secret secret--you are the majority of my readership.

I am grateful and still surprised that so many of you come here. Being the curious creature that I am, I wonder what brings you here, who you are, what you have to say...

I am constantly amazed by how many of you silently grace the pages of this blog. Given that I really never thought anyone at all would read here, it's quite an honor to know that you do, even if you are quiet.

Here I share my mind, my thoughts, the random insanities that pop into my head. And, much to my surprised delight, you read them!
Would you be so kind as to leave me a word? Perhaps why you're here, a bit about yourself, or even just hello...I won't bite. Promise--its actually a rule.
If you've ever wanted to say anything to me, or leave a hello on this blog, today would be the perfect day to do so! I tell you my secrets, won't you give me a word?

And just to get everybody going this morning...

  16. Happy LOL Day Lil! We've visited your blog a few times, although it has been awhile. The post you wrote about advice to beginners is still one of the best we've seen in blogland on the topic to date. Thanks for participating in LOL Day this year!

  18. I think I've commented a few times, here and there. I love coming here to read and muse. I'm honestly sad when I don't see a daily post by you (or mostly mouse for that matter). And when y'all go quiet for a long time...well I get a little stir crazy.

These days I'm essentially getting my D/s fix from fellow bloggers. So please, keep writing often. And I'll try to comment a little more regularly. Deal? Lol

  21. Hi Lil,

I've read your blog for a long time, I don't think I've ever commented, I generally lurk everywhere.

So why I'm here: I feel comforted by reading about lives of other subs/slaves because I don't talk to anybody who does TTWD. I love your blog, your writing style and your attitude as well as your honesty about your imperfections as a slave/submissive.

So thank you for continuing to post, and I'll try and lurk less! :)

    Love,
    Kes

  23. Happy lol day! I love reading your blog because you're so honest. You don't just post all the fantasy stuff, you post real life struggles too. It's reassuring to see that I'm not the only one that struggles sometimes.

Though I think I've only commented once in the last several years, I always wish you well.

Aww, thank you for being here too and being so kind! I do visit your corner, but Wordpress has it out for me, so I'm a total lurker these days.

  29. Definitely a lurker here, although we have exchanged few emails and i have dropped few comments here and there. Two reasons for that: 1-i can't figure out how to manage 2 Google identities and contribute to your blog under inked peonies, 2-it is a humbling learning experience to read from your experience. What makes your perspective special to me is that it goes way beyond sexuality and kinks. It allows me to understand why life has unfolded the way it has for me. Reading you helps me see and accept who i am. Because you write beautifully and poetically, reading you puts beauty and poetry in my heart where in my head there are insecurities and judgment. Thank you. Inked

Words fail me. Truly. Just...Thank you for these thoughts. From the bottom of my heart.

I can understand the difficulties of juggling Google identities! Especially since Google is such a nosy and sharing entity. I am, however, always delighted when you choose to peek in and share your thoughts.
