Winter is coming...

My month can pretty much be summed up with one illustration:

Except that coffee hasn't made it better
This image has to be familiar to someone else out there...

The good news is that Alpha is working. The bad news is, it's cold.

An early freeze precipitated the harvest of 150 pounds of green tomatoes. So those bags are all over my house until ripe and processed. It's only been a day and the clutter is driving me mad.
Winter is coming, and I don't think that she is going to be kind...

  2. We already turned our heater on...unheard of before October! We're supposed to get Indian summer! It's like a rule.

    Feeling gypped.

  9. Saw this cartoon this morning as I was fending off the Spanish inquisition from my two. Yep that is so me, except it's tea not coffee that gets me going and it takes all day to have an effect.
It's not especially cold here, but the dampness.... I hates it!
Here's to a mild winter, please, everywhere.

Lol, that's a perfect term for those morning queries.

Dampness is an issue that we don't generally have here, so complaining about snow is a bit criminal. But still...
