Time Will Tell...

I guess only time will tell...Maybe it won't be hell.

I thought about pulling out my cards and doing a reading for the first time in years...But I don't think that I will...My readings have always been extremely accurate. When I was younger, I wanted to know. I'm not sure why I wanted so badly to see what was coming...I don't want to know anymore. Because what has been seen cannot be unseen. And it's never funny.

Knowing won't change a damn thing about going.

  2. Seriously, I feel so uncool right now.

You can cook all these fancy dishes, have this amazing ablitlity to write, can play chess (and win!), I think I remember you saying something about cleaning up your dogs after a fight, you teach your kids, and now I find out you can read cards! Humpf, so unfair!

I realize that it's a little weird that I remember that stuff about you...

    1. Misty,
LOL! That is sooo different than the more common "You're creepy" response!

Now I feel cool. As my boy would say, oh yea, uh huh, uh huh uh huh! And no I didn't make that up. It comes complete with hand gestures and all. Lol.

    1. Joolz,
interesting how one's feelings about knowing change as time goes by, isn't it?

      Thank you!

  6. All the above comments beat me to what I would have said here, so just adding more hugs and good vibes. :) I have many other talents, but reading cards was never one of them. I sometimes wish I could, though. :)

    1. Amber,
      Thank you!
I've been reading for a long time, but I have found that I do it less and less often over the years. I pretty much quit reading for others completely long ago. People can be surprisingly irritable and creeped out when they look back and see that something they were told has come to pass...

  7. If I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt someone could tell me the absolute, positively correct information about the future - I would run like hell in the opposite directions!

    1. PK,
I think that if anyone told you that they could give you the absolute, positively correct information about the future, they would be full of crap!
In my experience, cards are going to give a response to the path someone is on at the time, and how things will go if they stay on that path. Nothing is written in stone, and we make our futures every day.

Sometimes I think that knowing only brings suffering of future ills. A sometimes useful tool perhaps, to see if the path chosen is a good one. But only if one is willing to divert from that path and change where it will lead to...

  9. I hope time is kind to you. I try to plan for the future, not predict. I have friends who have card readings, it never seems to give them peace of mind, only more questions.

    1. DelFonte,
I must admit, the only person I've ever asked to do a reading for me, is Alpha. I wouldn't go pay someone to read for me...There's too much left up to the interpreter.
Plus, it's one of those things where I think if you just keep asking, they become more and more ambiguous.

Thank you--I hope time is kind too.

    1. Roz,
I'd kind of like to know...But there's only really any point if one is will to change the direction they're going in, so there's not a whole lot of point in looking!

Thank you for the positive thoughts. Maybe I can osmosis them into some positivity of my own!

  11. I so agree with you about not knowing. The older I get the less I want to know.

Hugs and positivity - the universe will send you what is meant for you along with the courage and strength to deal with what it's sent.
