One Day I'll Learn...

I say:
I need more Domination that doesn't involve sex.

I get:
Whipped with the damn wooden spoon and informed the bedroom better be spotless by the end of the day or I'll get reacquainted with the spoon later--without clothing.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to make a 10'x15' room spotless when every extra item in the house is crammed in it?

I find myself both happy and bitter.

One of these days I'll learn to keep my mouth shut. Maybe.

    1. tori, lol. I have been told in no uncertain terms that should any implement happen to meet such a fate, mine would be far worse.
Unfortunately, I have the most wide array of wooden utensils of anybody I have ever met. He buys them for me..."see baby, I bought you more utensils, aren't they lovely?" Uhh...Nope.

  5. OUCH, yeah, wooden spoon hurts. We have a really nice solid one... I hate that bastard. I bought it because it was pretty, but damn it just goes from 0 to "I'm dying" in one strike.

Also feeling your pain on having small living quarters and not being able to keep everything sorted. I thought maybe we'd just keep less stuff around and therefore it'd be easier... but the stuff just keeps coming from somewhere.

    1. conina, lol, I hear you on the dying in one strike bit. The only thing I have found that I like less is the cane. Though if you turn a long handled wooden spoon around, they are suspiciously similar.

I had this goal of less stuff...Then we had another kid and it just keeps on piling up. Kind of like the Universe steals all the matching socks and replaces them with "stuff."

  8. But if you learn to keep quiet we wouldn't be able to commiserate with you...
OK there was some laughter there, but it was tinged with sympathy...
    Sort of...
